Process of lime slaking can be seen here in a youtube video on my channel. Meghana and I wanted to suggest lime plaster at an ongoing site and hence we took these trials of the material.

My husband and I had been gifted these second hand sofas ( 3 seater+two seater) a couple of months back. Thanks to these that we had some seating in our living room. They actually made it look like a living room, cause there was hardly any other furniture there! However

I often work directly with craftsmen and their labour. Some english words are visually familiar to them. However instructions can be written in hindi/marathi for ease of communication. This effort has given me excellent results and a lot of appreciation from workers.

Recently, Pooja and I were on site at our project near Kanha National park when we saw how the bricks weren’t crumbling on impact. We are keeping the external facade bricks exposed with mud mortar pointing.

Thanks to my Yoga instructor, I got a chance to help him make a cowdung plastered floor in the garden of his house.Location: Javakhedkar's house, near Karve statue, close to Rahul nagar, Kothrud, Pune. He got the dung from : the canal road near the state bank of india chowk

It is a privilege to witness traditional cob building. This is seen in remote rural areas of India where soil is good and where the notions of concrete development haven't reached people yet.
